Welcome to my website! It's the end of May 2011 - hard to believe really, time passes so quickly. My most recent update includes the pictures from my recent holiday with the PFEC folks. We stayed in Dubrovnik (Croatia) and took trips out to Montenegro and to Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Amazing! Pictures have been uploaded via the Pictures: Travel section of this site.

I've also picture celebrating the "End of Waltham Forest PCT" leaving karaoke. I'm now working out the remainder of my notice in NHS South East London, and really enjoying it. I have just completed some work on devolving commissioning responsibilities to GP consortia Pathfinders. Really exciting. I am now looking to move in to the interim market - watch this space!!

I have decided, after various bits of feedback, to remove the pictures of my daughter from the site (the picture of the two of us at Christmas, below, is the only concession) - as I haven't worked out how to password them. I will post various updates on Facebook (so mail me there), and am happy to send friends latest pictures. I would have loved to continue to show her development, but I think that the internet is not the nice place all of us would like it to be, so I have decided that it will be up to her when she is ready to put up pictures or whatever of herself. Thanks, too, to all of you who have agreed with my decision to do this!

For the first time I am also including the beginnings of an employment page. Following the merger of 4 Primary Care Trusts in outer North East London I have decided that the time is right to move on to other things in my life. That means that, from July 2011, I will be available for alternative forms of employment. Whilst I do have a number of "irons in the fire", I am nonetheless happy to receive both suggestions and offers. Please visit my new career related page if you are interested. I am really excited by the opportunities that this change in career direction open up for me.
