Firstly, where I live: London
My Neighbourhood -
Greenwich/Charlton/ Blackheath (south east London).
This section includes a picture of the Cutty Sark, one of the most famous ships in the world (I used this on my Christmas card this year). The Cutty Sark is currently being restored and was affected badly by a fire in May 2007. To find out more, or to donate to the restoration fund, see the Cutty Sark's website.
Check out as well the redeveloped
Dome section (with new pictures) whilst I don't like
the attempt at renaming it is great to see it so busy
again and it really is well worth a visit: new O2 site here, and Wikipedia
entry on Dome here.
Additionally here are pictures from
the snow in February 2009. Ten inches!! Quite a
nightmare, but I did make it in to work.
London - various (including the
wonderful London Eye). UPDATED October 2009.
The London Underground is one of the
wonders of London, annoying of course when you use it
every day - but great nonetheless. In December 2007 we
said goodbye to a whole Tube line - the East London
Line, which is to be redeveloped into something new
and bigger by 2010. It has played a big role in my
life - so I've took some pictures in remembrance.
Norfolk:
Click here for a special page (still
being worked on) dedictated to the county where I grew
up. The page is written in Norfolk dialect.
Elsewhere in England:
Aldeburgh, Suffolk (one of my
favourite parts of the world)
Canterbury, Kent
Cornwall (Including the Eden
Project)
Devon (Topsham - the Care Direct
2007 reunion at Michael & Bridget's)
Essex (Terling - with thanks to
Ceri)
